Resin

Resin is a synthetic or natural substance that is commonly used as a medium or material in art. It is viscous in nature and after application, hardens and cures to a smooth, durable and glossy finish.

It is mostly applied to a surface by techniques such as pouring or coating and can be used to cast sculptures, fill gaps, or create patterns. Other materials, mediums or objects such as glitter, pigments, dyes, ornaments, flowers, stones and crystals may be embedded or blended with resin to create an artwork.

Resin Art commonly refers to artworks that are composed mostly of resin and includes wall art, decorative items, jewellery, custom furniture and many other objects.
