If you’re looking for prints or copies of an original work of art, you’re unfortunately in the wrong place. 

UnikArt exclusively sells genuine, authentic and original works of art created by an artist.

The only exception applies to photographs and digital art, which are sold only as certified and artist-approved editions.

Yes, we provide a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for each artwork available for sale or purchased from our website.

Due to the nature of original works of art and the use of a variety of materials, mediums, or techniques by artists, along with environmental factors, UnikArt | Mauritius is not in a position to offer any form of warranty on art for sale or purchased through us.

The care required for original works of art varies, however some basic tips would be: 

  1. Keep your art, especially paintings away from direct sunlight and humidity.
  2. Avoid the use of chemicals or detergents while cleaning the piece

While we try to ensure information regarding the art available on our website is accurate, it is subject to variations and information submitted by the artist. 

Please note: 

  1. Interpretation of art is subjective and may vary between viewers or artists.
  2. Images, photos, illustrations and videos on the website or our social media channels are non-contractual. Variations may occur due to lighting conditions, artwork’s surface, and photography equipment.
  3. Artwork sizes usually have an accuracy of ± 5% of stated sizes.

DELIVERY & PAYMENTS

Yes, UnikArt offers free delivery across Mauritius within 3 to 5 days. 

Delivery times may be affected by weather conditions, public holidays and if items are:

  • Large artworks exceeding 150cm on one side and 120cm on the other. 
  • Heavy artworks exceeding 25 kg in weight
  • Bulky artworks that are difficult to handle
  • Fragile objects requiring custom transport solutions

Unfortunately, UnikArt does not currently deliver orders received online to international addresses.

If you are a customer from abroad or you wish to get your art shipped outside of Mauritius, kindly contact us to submit your request.

Our team shall strive to consider and fulfil your request as much as possible.

If you opt to collect your order, an e-mail will be sent to you to confirm that your art is ready for collection. 

Orders may be collected in Port Louis, Ebène or Quatre Bornes.

Yes you may be able to view the art before buying it. Viewings are on appointment only. Get in touch for more information.

  • Refunds and returns are not accepted unless an artwork is damaged upon arrival or before delivery. 
  • Minor variations in colour, texture, or measurements may occur due to differences in digital displays, lighting, and the handmade nature of artworks. These do not qualify as defects or grounds for return or refund.
  • Any requests for returns or refunds are considered on a case-to-case basis.

Currently UnikArt only accepts payment in cash upon collection or via bank transfer

Online payment using credit/debit card is currently unavailable but shall be added to the website in the near future.
